We’re known for our high-touch, personalized service that leads you by the hand.

"Thank you for helping us to vastly improve our product, our service, and our opportunity to succeed in the e- commerce arena. I sincerely appreciate the fact that you ALWAYS made yourself available to me, and calmly walked me through everything."

Other companies can deliver a website or blog. We go beyond that and give you the knowledge and tools you need to successfully leverage social media in your company. From the training videos and user manuals we give you to the one-on-one training and consulting sessions, we strive to empower you to be in control of your online presence and in charge of your social media activities.

We’ll meet every week for 4-6 weeks in personalized one-on-one sessions
designed to provide you with the tools and teach you how to use them.

Phase I - It begins with understanding your business.

Instead of beginning by talking about the latest bright shiny new social media toys, we prefer to first understand you and your business, your markets, customers, and objectives. We’ll explore:

We create your site. You create your content. We know how to design websites and social media programs. You know your business, your customers, market and industry. Together, we’ll make a great team. We create your site. You create your content. We’ll show you how to write so that it resonates with your audience. We’ll teach you how to enter your content into your site and how to change it whenever you want.
  • Your market niche(s)
  • Your perfect customer.
  • The problems you solve for your customers.
  • What you want to accomplish (evangelism?, customer service? Sales leads?)
  • The message and tone you want to convey
  • Special functions and features you may need (shopping cart?, MLS search?, Opt-in forms?)
  • Your logo, colors, and other visual elements
  • What you can expect from us

Phase II – Design the Prototype

We’ll produce up to two complete site designs if necessary. We’ll happily create additional site designs at our normal hourly rate. Our fee includes the purchase of up to two pieces of stock photography if required. Some agencies charge by the page; We don’t.

When our graphic designer completes the custom design of your site, we will use it to build a functional mockup. We want you to be able to see what your site will look like. Your pages will contain dummy text so you can see how they’ll appear. We want you to be able to click the buttons and kick the tires.

Phase III – Build Your Site

Upon approval of the mockup, we’ll begin constructing your actual site. Unless you already have a hosting account, we’ll create your hosting account at our preferred vendor. We will:

We don’t do our own hosting. We prefer to delegate that to companies with the infrastructure to provide reliable hosting and 24/7 technical support. You should expect to pay $15-$20/month. The hosting company will bill you directly.
  • Install all the necessary files
  • Install a set of plugins per our best-practices that we’ve tested and approved.
  • Create all pages and populate them with dummy content.
  • Create a horizontal menubar to make your site easy to navigate (unless the design dictates otherwise).
  • Create a Search function so readers can easily find your content.
  • Create ‘Subscribe to this blog’ widget in the sidebar of the blog.
  • Create a set of icons below each blog post that make it easy for readers to share your content.
  • Add the Facebook ‘Like’ button.
  • Add the Twitter ‘ReTweet’ button.
  • Configure the blog’s comment facility so that it is easy for readers to leave comments but comments are not published until approved by you.
  • Include badges for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc as appropriate. And connect then to the appropriate places.
  • If appropriate, connect blog to services providing demographic data about readers. Demographic data includes age distribution, gender distribution, income distribution, education distribution.
  • If appropriate, establish a Google Analytics account and incorporate it into your site.
  • Domain Mapping if appropriate
  • Connect the blog to Feedburner, the most popular RSS Feed Aggregator
  • Install our own ‘Help’ plugin into your administrative panel. This plugin contains short tutorial videos containing step-by-step instructions for most common tasks.

Built-In WordPress Video Help System

We’ve created our own WordPress Video Help System. Installed in the admin panel of your site, it contains video training that leads you step-by-step through all the common WordPress tasks. We don’t stop there, though: If your site contains any special features we create custom videos for you covering them as well.
